Mental Health Care: A growing need

Mental health care is becoming more and more people are suffering in silence. Depression is a form of mental health care that people tend to ignore the stigma associated with this type of diagnosis. There are many causes of depression and the death of a family member, dissolution of marriage, and health. Many people see this as a weakness that can be avoided, but this is far from the truth.

Depression is a chemical imbalance that causes a person to feel blue and wine. If left untreated can lead to suicidal thoughts. Many people have to hide their feelings and do not want the public to know who is sick. People suffering from depression, often worthless, and nobody cares about them. Some people begin to spend more time sleeping in bed and can be a loss of appetite. Mental health care intervention can be useful for the restoration of normal day to day functions.

The need to understand people who suffer from mental health problems have an additional need for compassion and understanding. The stigma of mental health is an important part of the problem of increasing cases of mental illness. Mental health workers are seen as "shrinks" and most people try to avoid them.
